Job Description

We have an opening for a physiotherapist to join our team in our modern and relaxing small private physiotherapy clinic in Yorkshire. Based in the quaint village of Meltham, nestled between the hills of the Peak District and Pennine National Parks, this is the ideal base to explore Yorkshire, Lancashire, and Greater Manchester. The cities of Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds and York are less than an hour away, and yet we are surrounded by countryside and historic towns and villages such as Holmfirth, Halifax, Slaithwaite and Marsden.

Our clinic has been in business for over 20 years, providing quality physiotherapy for the local community. We have a wide demographic, including working with athletes, the elderly, women’s health, children, road traffic accidents, and occupational injuries. Whilst mostly musculoskeletal in nature, your caseload would provide variety and development opportunities. We are passionate about continuous development, and invest in staff training and technology including shockwave, diagnostic ultrasound, women’s pelvic health, and acupuncture. We have full-time administrative support to minimise the burden of paperwork! We want you to use your time doing what you do best – providing hands-on patient-centred assessment and treatment, working with your patients to put together realistic treatment plans, and following their journey all the way from assessment to achieving their goals. At JRM Physiotherapy you get the opportunity to spend time with your patients, providing the quality physiotherapy every patient deserves, and building a supportive relationship based on trust and professional expertise.

We work as a team – welcoming initiative and innovative ideas from the whole team. We share best practice at regular peer review sessions, and also hold team social events. In the last year our team have worked together to develop a community outreach project, running Falls Prevention classes for the local community. We are interested in other ways to provide our services to the wider community and you would have a key role to play in this activity.

We are a Quality Assured Clinic with Physio First – which means all our physiotherapists have collected and submitted audit data about their treatment outcomes to an independent body and been assessed as Quality Assured Practitioners. We would expect any successful applicant to join Physio First and submit Data for Impact to work towards Quality Assured Practitioner status.
